The WorkAbility I program assists students who receive special education services with their transition from high school to college and/or career opportunities. Through the fiscal resources provided by the California Department of Education, the Yuba County Office of Education Vocational Counselors work with local school districts and charter schools to deliver services to students through comprehensive vocational training and work experience.
OUR MISSION:
By mentoring, coaching, and assessing student needs, the Yuba County WorkAbility I program assists in transitioning students from school to postsecondary goals in work or continuing education.
OUR VISION:The Yuba County WorkAbility I Program will provide career readiness resources, training, and advocacy for eligible students in the pursuit of competitive integrated employment. WorkAbility I will use marketing, data analysis, and workforce development tools to support and strengthen student outcomes.For more info click here.
